Ditching Jubilee’s free gas for Eni’s 'expensi

The hen has come home to roost as the adage goes. The vulnerabilities and inadequacies with the design of the Atuabo Gas Plant has finally become evident. The plant is obviously too small and incapable of processing the Jubilee gas. One would have thought the projected volume of gas production from Jubilee would have been a prime consideration in the design of the plant but ooh no .Personal gains was at the fore in the selection by the then Ghana Gas Company brass of what is now Atuabo Gas Plant even though there was a cheaper alternative with a larger processing capacity and superior technology. So as is typical, the country now has to bear the brunt of the avarice of corrupt, selfish and greedy politicians and their cohorts with no consequences for the perpetrators who walked away with millions of stolen money for the inflated price of the Chinese designed Atuabo plant. General Vigilante, why have you deserted and disappointed us?
