Child Online Africa, a non-governmental organisation which focuses on creating awareness towards a safe internet for children has donated some books to the Ghana Library Authority.

Executive Director for Child Online Africa, Awo Amenyah observed that a nation needs well-informed future citizens who can successfully make use of the internet and therefore believes there’s no better place than the library to help pursue such course.

“We thought it wise to make some of these books available to the Ghana Library Authority for them to keep for children and some parents can also lean some one or two things from it” she mentioned.

Madam Amenyah also indicated, the borderless nature of the internet requires educating young people in order for them to handle it responsibly.
