Kasapreko Company limited launched its first automated carton aseptic juice line at its premises Thursday, 18th December 2019.

The production of the fruit drinks in a Tetra Pak design is to target pupils and young adults. The Kiddy Pak juice drinks comprise of Super Star Multi Fruit Juice, Royal Apple Juice, Royal Red Grape and Kiki Milk Juice which will be in 200ml.

“Today we are launching our Kiddy packs and these are drinks that will be in Tetra Paks 200ml. And the primary target for the container are children, people. And this is launched because we have other products, the royal drinks which are all in 500ml. this product here is total juice drink which is primarily targeted at our young adult” Marketing Manager of the Non-alcoholic beverages at Kasapreko explained.

The Kasapreko Company Limited, an indigenous manufacturer and producer of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and its partners Tetra Pak Group, a food processing and packaging company, unveiled the new automated carton aseptic juice line.

The two companies are hopeful the Kiddy packs will meet insatiable demand of Ghanaian consumers especially young adults.

Chris Addo-Sarkodie noted that the state-of-the-art Tetra production plant cost the company an amount of $2.2 million and about 800,000 packs of Kiddy adding that the pack juice will be distributed on a daily basis.

“…It cost the company 2.2million dollars to set up this production plant and this was successful with our partners Tetra Pak Group Company who actually came down to ensure that within two years we’ve been able to set up this factory here at Spintex.”

Speaking at the launch of the Kasapreko Tetra Pak, CEO of the beverage producing company, Richard Adjei, and Managing Director of Kasapreko stated that “We are always keen to cater for the growing needs of the Ghanaian consumers and that is why we constantly innovate high quality and affordable products to meet all needs.”

Chris Addo-Sarkodie however revealed that in an attempt to satisfy needs of consumers and Ghanaians at large, while reducing the rate of unemployment in the country, the company is set to establish a factory in Kumasi.



“When it comes to Kasapreko, our non-alcoholic products which are in high demand and it is of that reason, we have now decided to set up a factory in Kumasi to ensure that we are meeting the entire demand of our consumers and distributors. So indeed we did our research on the Tetra Pak product and we are very hopeful that consumers are definitely going to enjoy and accept this product as well.”

He also indicated that a pack of Kasapreko Tetra Pak juice goes for an amount of one Ghana cedis and it will be available in all stores nationwide.

“At kasapreko we do not necessarily innovate to compete but we innovate to satisfy the primary person which is the consumer. So we actually came up with the right flavours to ensure that it is something Ghanaians will appreciate.”
