TV Africa to beat competition - Ekow Blankson

Management of TV Africa, a wholly Ghanaian owned private television station, which seeks to project the true Ghanaian and African values has stated its readiness to stay on top when it comes to on-air programmes.

According to the managers of the station, in order to achieve the above aim, there will be some new refreshing broadcasting content and personalities to meet international standards.

“We are here to beat competition and to be number one.” Ekow Blankson the Managing Director of TV Africa said in an interview at the maiden edition of the station’s morning show, Breakfast Live.

Mr Blankson promised viewers and stakeholders “excellent” television with the relaunch of TV Africa’s programme line-up.

When asked what prompted the relaunch by Obuobia Darko-Opoku on Breakfast Live, the MD said, “we listened, it took a bit of time, but we listened” and though it took time, the new TV Africa is ready to beat its competitors.

He added that, what TV Africa is doing is unprecedented plus people want to see something different and that is exactly what the new management intend to give viewers.

As a member of Groupe Ideal known to have a mark of excellence, the new TV Africa stems from excellence and the station has a great vision to go global with rich contents to give viewers, stakeholders, and friends the best of television.

TV Africa is currently on the analogue and digital platforms. Mr Blankson added in his interview that the station will expand its coverage to the other regions.
