Providing a premium platform where company owners and top business officials worldwide have the opportunity to interact, share ideas and learn from each other to impact their businesses and make an impact in the country’s economy; that is the ultimate target of the 2017 Ghana CEO Summit and Awards.

The summit dubbed: “Digital Innovation Economy for Business Growth” will through panel discussions, round table discussions and plenary sessions explore new avenues as far as the advancement of digital innovation in Ghana is concerned. The event will also help draw possible solutions in that regard.

Speaking on the details of the program, Founder of the Ghana CEO Network, Ernest De-Graft Egyir indicated that this year’s event will be distinct because it will create a platform where private stakeholders interact with government officials especially in such a period where one of government’s focus is to thrive on the private sector to build the economy.

According to him, participants will have the opportunity to relay their concerns, ideas and frustrations in the business sector to the government. This, he says, is a critical part of inclusion which will facilitate growth in the country’s economy.

“We packaged this product consulting the CEOs themselves, there was the need for a premium platform where they can meet and interact as peers and also have the opportunity for government to listen to their needs and concerns as far as business is concerned.

Speaking on the impact the program will have on smaller businesses, Mr. Egyir stated that decisions taken as a result of the dialogue and discussions will go a long way to positively affect start-up businesses as well as businesses within the Small and Medium Scale Enterprise categories.

President, Akufo-Addo who is the invited Guest of Honor and other experts including the Minister of Business Development are expected to address major issues regarding economic development in the country.

The two-day summit will focus on three main areas; business growth focus, innovation economy focus and the economic development focus. Several well accomplished CEOs, business leaders, entrepreneurs and government officials on both the global and local levels will converge to engage in discussions on various subjects which will yield positive impact on their businesses.

The 2017 edition of the Ghana CEO Summit will come off on May 22 and May 23 at the Kempinsky Hotel in Accra.
