Unique Floral center, an event design and floral company breaking grounds in the Ghanaian industry is marking 25 years of its existence and growth in floral décor and event designing.

The company, one of the country’s biggest has experienced significant success since its inception in 1991. Training and developing the skills of many upcoming event designers and florists, and providing high-standard event planning and decoration in Ghana and surrounding events, the company over the years has become a household name in the floral, wedding and events industry.

An excited Dr. Akua Sarpong-Ayisa, CEO of Unique Floral outlined the company’s plans to mark this huge milestone of success. As a way of appreciating what society through clients have contributed to the company over the years, Dr. Sarpong-Ayisa indicated that the company would want to give back and give upcoming designers an opportunity to improve on their already existing skills hence the educative package the company is offering through a conference and a lecture on how to implore innovative designs in boosting their businesses.

““society has brought us where we are, we’ve had people patronizing our wares and all of that, giving us pieces of advice on how to improve our business and the kind of things we should do that people would want, so we see it as a time to give back to society what society has given to us”, she said.

Recounting the journey to success, Mrs. Sarpong-Ayisa said that the challenges that they encountered in the bid to excel were stepping stones. According to her, though numerous hurdles were thrown at them, the grace of God, perseverance and hardwork saw them through.

Mrs. Akua Afriyie Sarpong-Ayisa has expanded from retailing of flowers which was the initial focus and now majors in event planning decoration as well as floral décor training as well.
