Unique Floral celebrates 25 years in floristry, event designing

Unique Floral center, one of the country’s biggest events design and floral company is celebrating 25 years of growth and success in the field of floral décor and event designing.

Established in 1991, the company has trained and developed the skills of many in all fields relating to floral artistry and décor and today has become a household name in the floral wedding and events industry. They major in providing an extensive range of beautiful flowers and gifts, as well as high-standard event planning and decoration in Ghana and surrounding countries in, they also provide timeless and unforgettable ambiance for all kinds of events through floral décor and both fresh and artificial flowers.

In an interview with GhanaWeb, Dr. Akua Sarpong-Ayisa, CEO of Unique Floral indicated the company’s plans to mark the first ever anniversary celebrations. She said they intend giving back to society what it over the years has given by way of purchasing and advices to the company hence the celebration of the anniversary in a unique way.

“society has brought us where we are, we’ve had people patronizing our wares and all of that, giving us pieces of advice on how to improve our business and the kind of things we should do that people would want, so we see it as a time to give back to society what society has given to us”, she said.





According to Mrs. Sarpong-Ayisa, despite the challenges and hurdles thrown at that them over the past 24 years, through grace, perseverance and hardwork, they worked their way through to success and this event marks a big milestone in her life and that of the company.

About Unique Floral Boss; Akua Afriyie Sarpong-Ayisa

Born as Akua Afriyie Sarpong-Ayisa to the late Emmanuel Victor Kwame Sarpong and Juliana Ama Sarpong, all from Mampong in the Ashanti Region, the young Akua Afriyie Sarpong grew up in Accra.






She has expanded from retailing of flowers to event planning decoration as well as opening of an ultra-modern flower decorating training school in Accra.

She is married to Air Commodore (Rtd) Philip Ayisa who she met in 1990. They have two children but before they got married she had one child from her previous marriage while her husband also had four, bringing the total number of their children to seven.



She likes doing decoration at her leisure time, and wants to be remembered for the advice and counseling she gives to people, especially the youth, who are eager to make it to the top.
