Maiden edition of men's ministry business expo held in Accra

The Men’s Ministry of the Charismatic Evangelistic Ministry (C.E.M.) as part of their annual men’s convention has held a two-day exhibition dubbed MM Business Expo 2016.

This being the maiden edition had over sixty companies participating and exhibiting their products, including electronic and electrical gadgets, lubricants, décor, books and stationery, beauty products, food and spices, automobile companies, real estates, security systems and event planning.

Some of the participating companies were Vivo Energy Ghana (Shell licensee), Stanbic Bank, Wintrak Homes, J & J Plastics, Delcam books and stationery, Adjoa Yeboah Clothing, amongst others.

The event, which attracted over three thousand customers and potential customers passing through, had the objective of creating a common platform where church members can introduce their respective businesses to each other to promote business growth for the benefit of the economy.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, the Vice President of the Men’s Ministry of C.E.M., Mr. Alfred Acheampong, used the occasion to encourage members of the church to patronise each other’s businesses as a way of supporting each other to grow and also thanked all exhibitors. Mr. Alfred Acheampong also announced that the MM Business Expo will be held at least twice a year and broadened to include other businesses.

The General Overseer of the Church Rev. Steve Mensah, who graced the occasion with his wife Rev. Mrs Jane Mensah, was full of praise for the organisers and exhibitors and disclosed that the event has officially been included on the church’s annual calendar.
