Total Ghana staff take time off to interact with customers

In a bid to get to know their customers better and educate them on services to expect when they drive through TOTAL service stations, Management and staff of Total Ghana recently moved out of their offices to offer services to customers at the service stations.

This follows the launch of the Top Service Week programme of activities, which afford customers the opportunity to experience top-class services not only in fuelling but also receive the best maintenance tips for prolonging the lives of their engines.

Led by the Managing Director, Olivier Van-Parys, staff of Total Ghana took the opportunity to check the vehicles’ oil levels and interacted with customers who visited their service stations.

In Bawku, the Area Manager, Michael Gogoe interacted with customers at the Total Service Station and provided safety tips to the commercial drivers who were travelling long distances.

In Accra, the Retail Network Manager, Frank Boamah was on hand to fuel vehicles that pulled up at the forecourt of the Atomic Junction Service Station, while topping up oils for those whose levels were low. According to him, “We believe without the customer we are not in business and so we will always endeavour to keep smiles on the faces of our customers by offering them first-class products and services.”

He further advised customers to oblige when customer attendants approach them at the service stations to check their engine oil levels, wipe their windscreens and check brake fluids, among others, adding that, “These are free services we are offering to our customers and they come at no extra charges.”

Olivier Van Parys spoke about his company’s commitment to the customer and the pledge by TOTAL to always keep the customer first saying, “Our customers should see us as the go-to place when you want a snap check on your vehicle without any extra cost to you.” “This” he added “also feeds into our new overall image revitalization which has seen us remodelling a number of our service stations to make them more open and welcoming to our customers.”

The exercise, which has been running for over ten years, was rolled out at all service stations throughout the country.

Total, the 5th biggest oil marketing company in the world, has been operating in Ghana for the last six (6) decades and the company now provides a full bouquet of energy solutions ranging from petroleum products to solar systems for lightening.
