Seidu Kotomah appointed Controller & Accountant General

President Dramani Mahama has appointed Mr.Seidu Kotomah as the Controller and Accountant General.

Until his appointment Mr. Seidu Kotomah was the Deputy Controller and Accountant General in charge of Financial Management Services (FMS).

He held a number of significant positions including the Director of the Ghana Integrated Financial Management Information System (GIFMIS), Head of Payroll, Director of Internal Audit and Investigation and Head of Main Accounts.

He has also served as Treasury Officer in Washington DC and Assistant Treasury Officer in London.

He was employed by the Controller and Accountant General’s Department (CAGD) in September 1989.

He brings to the position a rich wealth of experience in Public Sector Accounting spanning over 21 years.

Mr. Kotomah is a Chartered Accountant by profession. He also holds an MBA from Middlesex University, London and BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Ghana.

He also undertook an ACCA course at Financial Training Company in London, United Kingdom.
