Ghana Telecom was sold because of fraudulent activities perpetrated by the Board Chairman, Nana Antwi Boasiako, the MD Dickson Oduro Nyaning and the Ag. CFO Joseph Owusu Ansah. The Ministerial Committee set up to probe the company indicted all of them. Dickson Oduro Nyaning refused to appear before the Justice Acquaye Committe when he was invited. These three persons collapsed GT. They also took a loan of $200m just when the company was about to be sold and shared the money through fictitious contractors.
