Blue skies supports host communities

Blue Sky Ghana Limited, a fresh fruits Production Company based in the Nsawam-Adoagyiri Municipality, has undertaken several developmental projects to assist in the development of the communities where the company operates.

Briefing the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Doboro in the Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipality, Mr. Alistair Derby Djimatey, Public Relations Officer and Foundation Manager of the Company mentioned some of the project to include the construction of a 20- seater water closet for the people of Asante Akuraa in the Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipality.

Others are the construction of a three bedroom teacher’s accommodation for the head teacher of Yaw Duodu community, 12 seater KVIP toilets at Aboadaka, six seater KVIP at Yaw Duodu, school structures including Junior High School (JHS) at Akraman and Doboro, Kindergarten structure at Sakyikrom.

He said some projects had been constructed in other districts in the Eastern, Central and Western Regions.

Mr. Djimatey said the company is also putting up a multi-purpose sports complex including hand ball pitch, basketball court and volley ball court at Doboro.

He said the Company has proposed plans for the rehabilitation of the Nsawam Police Station building which is in a bad shape.
