GCCI retains executives

Members of the Ghana Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) have re-elected their national executives to serve another two-year term.

The executives, whose mandate expired last year, were re-elected during the Chamber’s 39th Annual General Meeting (AGM), which was held on Thursday, 9th January 2014 at the World Trade Centre in Accra.

The executives included Seth Adjei Baah as President, Prosper Adabla, 1st Vice President, Nana Appiagyei Dankawoso, 2nd Vice President and Victoria Hajar, National Treasurer.

In his acceptance speech, the President of GCCI, Mr. Adjei Baah expressed appreciation for the confidence reposed in him and other executives by the delegates.

He reiterated the commitment of all elected officers to continue the good work and also move the Chamber to greater heights.

“As we commit ourselves to serving you, many challenges may arise but I would like to assure you as a leader that we will make the necessary sacrifices and I believe with your support and prayers, we will be able to surmount every challenge,” the GCCI President noted.
