Another tranche of $3bn CDB loan released

Government is confident of completing the Atuabo gas project this year with the release of another tranche of the 3 Billion Chinese loan.

The China Development Bank released the money last week after parliament amended the agreement.

It was a prerequisite by the CDB for the release of the money.

As of March this year, the CDB had released just about 200 Million Dollars out of the total amount of 3 Billion.

Emmanuel Kofi Buah, the Minister for Energy and Petroleum said power supply will improve as Nigeria resumes gas supply to Ghana.
