GHANECC celebrates 10 years

The Ghana Netherlands Chamber of Commerce and Culture (GHANECC) have announced arrangements towards the celebration of ten years of existence and successful business advancement between Ghana and the Netherlands.

Consequently, the association has drawn up an exciting program scheduled from 13- 17 February 2013, to commemorate the occasion.

In a statement released in Accra on Wednesday, GHANEC said while certain events will only be attended by prior invitation, most will be open to all interested persons.

In a move to create awareness of the importance of time keeping, the statement added that the celebrations will be climax by the official launch of Ghana on Time (G.O.T) initiative.

“... As open-minded and culturally-influenced habitants of this beautiful country, we are all aware of the lack of punctuality that is so common in Ghana.  From the highest officials to the common house help, the notions surrounding the importance of time precision seem to be of little significance.

“GHANECC strongly believe that now is the time to initiate a new trend within corporate and official sectors that promotes punctuality and its importance to development, progress and business efficiency,” the statement added.

Ghana on Time (G.O.T) is a movement proposed by GHANECC to create awareness of the importance of time keeping! As open-minded and culturally-influenced habitants of this beautiful country, we are all aware of the lack of punctuality that is so common in Ghana.  From the highest officials to the common house help, the notions surrounding the importance of time precision seem to be of little significance. GHANECC strongly believe that NOW IS THE TIME to initiate a new trend within corporate and official sectors that promotes punctuality and its importance to development, progress and business efficiency.
