Trust Logistics Limited (TLL) has unveiled six new trucks and two official vehicles as part of efforts to strengthen its operational capacity, improve efficiency and position the state-owned company for sustainable growth.

Speaking at the inauguration on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, the Managing Director of TLL, Maxwell Ziyerley Agbambilla, said the acquisition formed part of the company’s medium-term strategic plan to replace its ageing fleet and improve its competitiveness.

Agbambilla said the investment was particularly important because TLL plays a strategic role in transporting petroleum products to critical state institutions, including the Jubilee House, the Ghana Armed Forces and the Ghana Police Service.

“This makes TLL perhaps a national security imperative. Its sustenance and growth is therefore critical,” he said.

According to him, management, with the support of the Board of Directors, subsequently developed a strategic plan focused on fleet renewal, improved employee welfare and increased productivity.

“The strategic plan identified the expansion and strengthening of our fleet as critical to improving our operational capacity and positioning the company for growth,” Agbambilla stated.

He said the company had already taken steps to improve the welfare of its workforce through modest salary increases, while the newly acquired trucks would augment its existing fleet.

“Today, the plan is no longer simply a document on paper. We are seeing one of its important objectives becoming a reality,” he said.

Agbambilla, however, cautioned that the acquisition of the vehicles was only the beginning, stressing that management would be judged by its ability to deploy the assets efficiently and translate the investment into increased revenue and sustainable value.

“The real measure of our success will be how efficiently we utilise these assets to increase revenue and create sustainable value for the company,” he said.

He appealed to the company’s shareholder to consider recapitalising TLL to enable it to become financially viable and profitable.

“It is our goal that with the necessary support, we will be able to work hard, make reasonable profit and pay dividends to our shareholder,” he said.

Agbambilla also expressed appreciation to the Board, management, staff, customers and business partners for their support in helping the company navigate its challenges.

He described the unveiling as a new chapter for TLL, saying the company was moving from a period of uncertainty towards renewed growth and opportunities.
