The Chief Executive Officer of GoldBod, Sammy Gyamfi, has been honoured by the Paramount Chief of Buipe, Buipewura Abdulai Jinapor II, in recognition of his leadership and contribution to Ghana's economic development.

The honour was conferred during a courtesy visit by the traditional ruler to GoldBod, where Gyamfi was presented with a traditional smock and a symbolic spear medal, described as one of the highest honours in Gonjaland.

According to the Buipewura, the recognition was in appreciation of Gyamfi's humility, selflessness, and dedication to national service through his leadership of GoldBod.

Receiving the honour, Gyamfi expressed gratitude to the Paramount Chief and the people of Buipe for the recognition.

He reaffirmed his commitment to leading GoldBod with integrity and professionalism while working to ensure that the institution contributes meaningfully to Ghana's economic transformation.

The visit also provided an opportunity for discussions on development issues affecting the Savannah Region and the country as a whole.

Among the key issues discussed were agriculture, industrialisation, and investment opportunities in the region.

The two leaders underscored the need for sustainable development, job creation, and value addition to Ghana's natural resources as critical components of the country's economic growth agenda.

They also highlighted the importance of collaboration among government institutions, traditional authorities, and development partners in driving inclusive development.
