Ghanaian manufacturer Interplast Ltd has been ranked 49th in Africa’s Fastest-Growing Companies 2026, the annual ranking published by the Financial Times and Statista. The company was ranked 70th on the same list in 2025 and is recognised for the second consecutive year.
Interplast, headquartered in Accra, manufactures plastic pipe systems and building solutions for customers in Ghana and across Africa. Their products are used in water distribution, sanitation, agriculture, mining, irrigation, telecoms, construction, energy, and civil engineering applications — sectors central to the continent’s infrastructure development.
The company’s Chairman described the recognition as a milestone that belongs to the broader Ghanaian manufacturing community.
“This recognition is a proud moment for Interplast and for Ghanaian manufacturing. It reflects a long-term commitment to industry, people, quality, and customer trust. We are proud to see a Ghanaian company continue to rise on the African stage.” — Saied Fakhry, Chairman, Interplast Ltd.
Managing Director Hayssam Fakhry attributed the improvement to deliberate, multi-year investment in capability rather than short-term factors.
“Rising from 70th in 2025 to 49th in 2026 shows that our growth is the result of long-term investment in quality, technology, and regional partnerships. We remain committed to supporting Africa’s infrastructure development with reliable products manufactured here in Ghana.” — Hayssam Fakhry, Managing Director, Interplast Ltd.
“This achievement reflects disciplined growth, operational resilience, and the strength of Interplast’s long-term strategy. It also recognises the confidence placed in us by our customers, suppliers, financial partners, and stakeholders across Africa.” — Abdallah Bashoun, Chief Financial Officer, Interplast Ltd.
“Our growth is built on execution. Every product manufactured, every delivery completed, and every project supported reflects the hard work of our production, technical, quality, logistics, sales, and support teams.” — Sivnesh Kumar RE, Chief Operating Officer, Interplast Ltd.
“This recognition reflects the growing confidence customers across Africa continue to place in Interplast. As we expand our international sales and regional partnerships, our focus remains on delivering reliable, high-quality products that support infrastructure development across the continent.” — Samudini Sabi, General Manager – International Sales, Interplast Ltd.
The Financial Times and Statista ranking identifies companies across Africa that have achieved strong, verified revenue growth over the evaluation period.
Interplast’s consecutive recognition — ranked 70th in 2025 and 49th in 2026 — highlights its resilience, regional competitiveness, and expanding role in Africa’s industrial and infrastructure landscape. The company says it will continue to invest in innovation, quality, capacity, sustainability, and regional partnerships.
