President John Dramani Mahama has nominated Pamela Graham as the new Auditor-General.
The announcement of the nomination was shared by TV3 in a social media post on April 10, 2026.
According to the report, Pamela Graham currently serves as Senior Partner at Ernst & Young, a position she has held since 2020. Her role is said to have strengthened her expertise in financial oversight and institutional advisory.
She is expected to assume the position of Auditor-General following the conclusion of all necessary processes.

The nomination, conveyed by the Secretary to the President, is in line with Article 70(1)(b) of the 1992 Constitution, which requires the President to seek the advice of the Council of State before making a final appointment.
The Council of State is expected to consider the nomination in the coming days and advise the President accordingly.
If confirmed, Graham will succeed Johnson Akuamoah Asiedu, who has served as Auditor-General since his appointment in September 2021.
