The Minister of Energy and Green Transition, Dr John Abdulai Jinapor, has held a meeting with the World Bank to strengthen collaboration in Ghana’s energy sector.

The engagement highlighted the World Bank’s longstanding role as a strategic partner, supporting key projects and driving reforms aimed at improving the sector’s performance.

Discussions focused on advancing shared priorities, including enhancing energy access, improving reliability, and promoting sustainability across the country.

Dr Jinapor described the meeting as productive, noting that both parties remain committed to deepening cooperation to address challenges in the energy sector and support Ghana’s development agenda.

The partnership is expected to further accelerate reforms and investments aimed at ensuring a more resilient and efficient energy system.
