A party stay 8yrs in opposition and did nothing apart from vilification of the government in power,come to power with nothing and now looking for something to do.A recipe for failure.The volta flows freely from North Tongu through Central to South Tongu into the Atlantic Ocean,the people living around it are among the poorest of the poor and are just a stone throŵ from Accra,you bypass them and see where they are,clueless to say the least.Instead of Okudzato Ablakwa MP for North Tongu leveraging on his position as Foreign Minister to lobby Israeli or Chinese companies to come and establish irrigation projects,he decided to do it for tat with Israel,as for China zilch.

May be you’re not aware that the area south supports large populations and may not have large swaths of land suitable for irrigation and large scale farming. The large tracts of land in the Katanga valley and Salaga areas can be developed to become large scale farming that will turn Ghana into West Africa’s food basket, if not Africa for that matter!
