The government is expecting to raise GH¢8.2 billion in its treasury bills auction on September 12, 2025.
The government recently secured GH¢4.36 billion in its auction, recording its first oversubscription after four consecutive weeks of undersubscription.
Data from the Bank of Ghana showed that investors tendered a total of GH¢4.38 billion across the 91-day, 182-day, and 364-day bills.
According to the auction results, total bids amounted to GH¢4.38 billion, with the government accepting GH¢4.36 billion.

Yields on the short-term instruments showed mixed movements.
A breakdown of the bids indicates that GH¢3.62 billion out of GH¢3.63 billion was accepted for the 91-day bill.
For the 182-day bill, GH¢566 million was taken from the GH¢576 million submitted, while the 364-day bill saw GH¢182 million accepted out of the GH¢187 million tendered.
The 91-day bill cleared at 10.42%, slightly up from 10.32% the previous week, while the 182-day instrument edged higher to 12.41% from 12.37%.
