South African Ashwin to facilitate Events Expo Ghana

Accra, March 1, GNA - South African Event Management and Production capo, Karen

Ashwin would be the lead facilitator at the 3-day 1st Events Expo Ghana being organized

by RICS Consult Limited later this month. Ms Ashwin, Founder and Managing Director of Event Production Company,=

pioneers in

the live event industry in South Africa will spearhead the event with RIC= S Consult to be

organizing in collaboration with DRIWALD Consult Limited and the Professional Events

and Consultants & Organizers' Association (PECO).

The 1st Events Expo Ghana under the theme, "Re-defining the Fundament= als of Event

Architecture, Planning, Organization and Management as an Emerging Industry" will be

held at the Accra International Conference Centre from March 30 - April 1, 2010. Ms Ashwin, according to a communiqu=E9 copied to GNA Sports from RICS=

Consult will

take participants through topics such as, "Planning and Managing Events a= nd the Blueprint

for Success", interspersed with local and foreign case studies among othe= rs. The Production Capo is credited with developing the growth of her company which was

established in 1993, into a multi-million dollar company over a period of= 17 years and

regarded as one of Africa's most respected and recognized corporate production and event

planning organization. The company collaborated with Global Media Alliance to deliver the opening and

closing ceremonies of CAN 2008, held in Ghana. Some of the major events organized by The Event Company include the opening

ceremony of the World Summit on Sustainable Development held in South Afr= ica recently,

Miss World Coronation Ball, ING Renault F1 Road Show, as well as planning= of the 85th

birthday celebration of former South Africa President, Nelson Mandela.
