Accra bourse index ends lower

Accra, Feb. 27, GNA - The GSE All-Share Index, the benchmark measure of performance of the Ghana Stock Exchange, lost a whopping 86.42 points on Friday to end a week of unimpressive performance. The index closed the session lower at 9,836.84 points as against 9,923.28 at the previous close on Thursday, pulled down by Ecobank Ghana price loss.

Change for the Year to date now stands at -5.70 per cent. Traded volumes were down at 11,100 shares from 14,800 shares. Market capitalisation fell at GH¢18,465.15 million from GH¢18,528.03 million. On the broader market Ecobank Ghana lost GH¢0.39 to close at GH¢3.80.
