GT management serves customers

Accra, May 14, GNA - As part of activities marking Ghana Telecommunication Company Limited (GT) customer appreciation week, management and senior staff on Wednesday served customers in their various offices.

At the company's head office in Accra, Mr Dickson Oduro Nyaning, Chief Executive Officer of the company, who was seen busily attending to customers said the exercise would be a quarterly affair. He expressed delight at serving customers and said it was to afford them the opportunity to learn at first hand what usually happened at the company's customer service centres.

Mr Nyaning said the move would also help to improve customer relationship, attract and retain more customers and find out some of the challenges facing the centre.

Mr Kwabena Duah, a customer, lauded the initiative saying, "This shows how caring management is to clients".

Ms Rosemary Mpuah of the Customer Service Department said she was happy to have the CEO working with her department.

At the High Street office of the company, Mrs Stella Appiah-Nkansah, Chief Officer, Human Resource, had also assumed the post of customer service personnel and was briskly serving clients.

She said the company had improved in all areas and there was the need to also improve customer service.
