Accra bourse slips on Mechanical Lloyd loss

Accra, Nov. 15, GNA - The main index of the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) slipped in trading on Wednesday on the loss of Mechanical Lloyd. The GSE All-Share Index ended the day lower by 1.55 points at 4,988.87 points from Tuesday's close to 4,990.42 points. Change to date ended at 4.61 per cent.

On the broader market, there were three price changes - two up and one down.

Mechanical Lloyd lost 200 cedis at 2,100 cedis, but ECOBANK Ghana gained five cedis at 13,105 cedis and Fan Milk Limited inched up by one cedi at 17,001 cedis.

Total shares traded were down at 40,800 shares from 190,000 shares and market capitalisation also ended down at 112,184.31 billion cedis from 112,193.50 billion cedis.
