DICL pays 333 million cedis to insured transport company.

Tema, Aug 01, GNA - Donewell Insurance Company Limited (DICL) on Tuesday presented a cheque for 333 million cedis to Mitcham Express Tours, a transport company.

The presentation, which falls under DICL's Motor Vehicle Insurance Policy (MVIP), took place at the company's office in Tema. Presenting the cheque Mr Perry Adamba, the General Manager in charge of General Business, said DICL was fulfilling one of its mandates of providing insurance to members of the general public. Mr Adamba said as the company ensured that clients' claims on their insured vehicles were paid promptly on receipt of genuine documents covering them.

Mr Boakye Yiadom, Managing Director of Mitcham Express Tours, received the cheque and thanked Donewell.

Explaining why his company qualified for the claim, Mr Yiadom said on June 6, one of the company's five new buses insured with Donewell under the comprehensive cover of the MIVP, got involved in an accident at the Bunso junction on the Accra/Kumasi road.
