One of Ghana's leading brands in the hospitality industry Movenpick Hotels and Resorts have expressed their commitment to continually deliver on their promise of giving clients and travellers a home away from home.

Speaking to the General Manager of Movenpick Hotels and Resort, said their confidence in delivering on their mandate stems from the quality of service delivered by the staff. Movenpick recently picked up two awards at the Ghana Expatriate Business Awards in the capital.

The General Manager, who believes the awards go to emphasise their commitment to customer satisfaction, remarked “We are truly humbled and honoured with that award. Myself being here for five years, we have done a lot of work trying to place Ghana and particularly Accra as the destination for ‘mines’ business and the business traveller. We have hosted plenty of celebrities, dignitaries and VIP guests and we always manage to provide for these people a home away from home. We are humbled and honoured that our hard work has been recognised”

He advised industry players to always endeavour to improve the standards and find new ways of addressing customer needs. He noted that the success chalked by the Hotel will not make them complacent but drive them to keep offering better services and creating a home away from home.

“We know that the business of travellers is a constant change. We cannot rely on what we have done in the past. Whatever we have offered in the past cannot be good enough for the future. So we clearly have to understand who our customers are. We have to understand what are their needs and expectations. These are the objectives we have to master. Because the moment we do not what our guests, business travellers no matter business or leisure, needs desire, if we do not understand this, we cannot provide them a home away from home and as I said in the beginning our key objective is to provide to anybody who stays at our facilities a home away from home. That means understand their needs, and provide them the most comfortable and enjoyable stay."
