The emergence of digital convergence where one can sit in the comfort of his room and conduct a financial transaction has resulted in a lot of competition in the financial sector.

Stanbic Bank, one of the leading banks in Ghana in face of this convergence seem to be in a comfortable lead.

Lovelace Adjei-Aku, Manager for Achiever and Workplace Banking says the bank is duly prepared for any competition noting that “we are not afraid of the competition rather we want to be ahead of the competition”

According to her, the bank cherishes feedback from its customers hence the need to meet with them periodically to get feedback and familiarize with them as well as create a platform for network.

“They may be tailors or maybe doing their own thing, we are happy to work with them, we have products ranging from loans, transactional products, current accounts and various digital platforms to support their efforts” she added.

She said, Stanbic Bank looks forward to be more customer centred and improve on its service delivery adding that “we want to partner more with our customers so this meeting will be serialized, it will come off almost every quarter”.

Lovelace Adjei-Aku was speaking at a breakfast meeting organized by the bank to familiarize itself with its stakeholders in Accra on Thursday, March 1.
