One of the many beneficiaries of Vodafone VIM - an initiative that empowers the youth with knowledge and skills - has praised Vodafone Ghana for the product and advised the youth to take advantage of this rare opportunity to start a career.

Sharing his experience, Michael Ameyaw said: ‘’I signed up to Vodafone VIM because I wanted to learn some handiworks that I can do myself. I selected t-shirt design and production, and tried my possible best to do what they taught me in the videos. I am so happy I can do something on my own and earn a living to cater for myself and my family.’’

‘’I want to tell everyone who is yet to sign-up to Vodafone VIM, to do so quickly because there are many benefits and opportunities to help start and grow your business.’’ He added.

Customers who sign-on to VIM receive weekly motivational voice clips and a series of educational and self-development videos on seven main courses including T-shirt printing, soap making, beauty, fashion, baking, juice making and décor.

VIM is a promise by Vodafone, to lead the way in responding to the problems of underemployment and unemployment in Ghana. The product thrives on using technology to share and train the youth on entrepreneurial and vocational skills; whilst connecting them to the things that matter most.

The product also offers unequalled minutes for calls to Vodafone and other networks, in addition to data for browsing the internet. VIM is a unique loyalty programme.
