Victor Smith sells Investment Opportunities In Ghana

.... to Hungarian Business Community

Ghana’s Ambassador to the Czech Republic with concurrent accreditation to the Republic of Hungary, H.E. Victor Emmanuel Smith has sent a strong message of encouragement to the Hungarian business community to look at Ghana as a friendly and viable investment destination.

Speaking at a Business & Investment Forum, dubbed Ghana-Gateway to West Africa, organized by the African Department of the Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BKIK) in Budapest last month, Ambassador Smith outlined the many attractive opportunities for entrepreneurs as a result of Ghana’s highly improved macro-economic environment, political stability and it’s globally hailed democratic credentials, and re-iterated the President’s invitation to the international business community to take advantage of the positive investment climate prevailing in Ghana.

He also informed the Forum about the many investment incentives and guarantees that Ghana has for foreign direct investments. Dr Zoltan Vereczkey, Vice-President of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MKIK) in his opening address to the Forum said that the meeting was a great opportunity for Hungarian entrepreneurs to learn about business opportunities in Ghana and Africa, especially at this time when competition is quite intense and opportunities are dwindling in European markets. Late last year, Ambassador Smith organized a business & Investment forum in Praha, bringing together Czech and Ghanaian businessmen and women.
