Unemployed graduates build competencies in entrepreneurship

Kumasi, Dec. 18, GNA - A five-day fair to facilitate the opening up of business opportunities for young entrepreneurs and the nation's growing unemployed graduates has opened in Kumasi.

It would among other things build their competencies and expose them to best business practices, markets and marketing, financial planning and how to improve their business plans.

The programme is being jointly organised by the Ministries of Local Government and Rural Development (MLGRD) and Employment and Social Welfare.

The fair is part of measures by the MLGRD to promote local economic development through self-employment, innovation and creativity, particularly among the youth.
