Total ‘StartUpper of the Year challenge’ announce 10 finalists

Total Petroleum Ghana Limited has shortlisted ten finalists from hundreds of applicants who applied to compete in the “StartUpper of the Year” challenge launched by the oil marketing giant late last year.

Following a comprehensive review of all applications by a jury, the following applicants and their projects were selected to go through the next phase of the competition:

Prince AMANIAMPONG, Project P'JERM Waste water Treatment Company Ebenezer ANNOH, Project Fresh water Shrimp Project Joshua AYINBORA, Project JE&F Company Limited Prince BOADU, Project Map Tech Logistics Limited Dominic KEPOMEY, Project CERTA Geo Location.

The rest are: EUNICEOWUSU-KARIKARI, Project E-Juice Company Ltd Nana Gyan QUAICOE, Project Arukah Vittles Enterprise Daniel QUAICOE JNR., Project HQ Industries Yakubu YUSUF, Project Grab A CupThis list and the complete rules for the contest are accessible.

The 10 finalists are expected to confirm their willingness to remain in the competition after which they will receive a one-week intensive coaching to help them prepare for their oral presentations before the jury.

Following the finals election, three eventual winners of the 2016 “StartupperoftheYearbyTotal” Challenge in Ghana will be announced.
They will receive financial aid to develop their project, as well as customized support and coaching from Total Petroleum Ghana Ltd. The finalists will also be honoured at an official awards ceremony.

"Startupper of the Year by Total" is a Total contest being held in 34 African countries. It aims at identifying and providing financial and other support to the best projects to create or grow a business under two years old in Ghana. The winning projects will be awarded the "Startupper of the year 2016 by Total" label, along with financial aid and coaching from Total Petroleum Ghana Ltd. Entry is free and open to any Ghanaian national aged 35 or under.
