Top Oil Company Limited, one of the leading oil marketing companies in Ghana, this year marks its ten-year anniversary since its operations on the Ghanaian market.

Though it is operating in an extremely competitive industry, its Chief Executive Officer, Ben Atsu-Agbomanyi and his finite number of talented staff have worked assiduously over the years, to muscle out robust competition from household names such as Goil.
“The oil industry is an extremely competitive business with very tight profit margins so one has to be very strategic to break even,” Mr Atsu-Agbomanyi told reporters in his plush office in Accra during an interaction.
Top Oil Company Limited in ten years has stake a massive claim in the business as it boosts of over fifty branches across the country, with over two hundred dedicated employees.
Top Oil Company Limited is a wholly owned Ghanaian oil firm and is headquartered in Accra.
Mr Atsu-Agbomanyi reveals plans are afoot to extend its operations to other West African countries, as it strives to rubbed shoulders with the best in the world.
“There are stringent measures in place to extend the business. We want to extend our operations to other countries, specifically to our neighboring countries.
“We recognize the challenges the sector is facing but in the face of all these, the company has stand the test of time and to be able to improve on our standards, we have adopted the all hands on deck approach.
“…there are several filling stations springing up each and every day so at all times we have to improve upon our services, to strengthen our ties with customers,” the chief executive officer retorted.
Mr Atsu-Agbomanyi has an extensive and proven experience in the oil sector. In his current role as the chief executive officer of Top Oil, he has demonstrated expertise in driving business turnarounds in the face of the challenges bedeviling the sector.
He is adept in developing and defining strategy, vision, and objectives for extensive growth of his establishment and the sector in general, thanks to his several years of experience with Mobile Oil.
It is against this background that some industry players have nicknamed him the “Boss Player”.
