The Central Working Committee of The Future Awards Africa (TFAA) has unveiled its first franchise in Ghana.
The Awards on the theme: “Ghana’s New Tribe’, is hosted by People Initiative Foundation (PIF).
A statement issued in Accra by Mr Emmanuel Leslie Addae, a member of the committee, said the event seeks to recognize inspiring young people impacting the West African nation through social enterprise, social good, and innovation.
It said in the last twelve years, the Awards have been a catalyst towards building a new tribe of citizens who are bound by their potentials, relentless hard work and united by their soaring achievements.
The statement said the event would also highlight young innovators ability to inspire others and the depth of their work.
The TFAA franchise has also announced its call for nominations of individuals between ages 18-31 years, who have made a considerable impact within Ghana and/or globally within the last year and must have easily accessible documentation of achievements.
The Award categories are: The Future Awards Africa Prize for Entertainment, The Future Awards Africa Prize for Business, The Future Awards Africa Prize for Sports, The Future Awards Africa Prize for Education and The Future Awards Africa Prize for Technology.
The rest are The Future Awards Africa Prize for Advocacy, The Future Awards Africa Prize for Agriculture and The Future Awards Africa Prize for Young Person of the Year.
