The Dormaa Area Teachers Cooperative Credit Union (DATCCU) on Wednesady launched a new product, Anidaso Mutual Fund(AMF), to encourage members and prospective members of the credit union to save and improve their standards of living after pension.
The new product focuses on providing long-term financial protection for the family, supplementing any retirement funds provided by other financial institution, build a capital for an intended project, and serve as a financial back-up for businessmen/businesswomen.
Addressing a ceremony to launch the product which also saw the final draw of the DATCCU Golden Opportunity Promotion, Mr. Ameyaw Yeboah James, the Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of the Credit Union, assured members that prudent measures have been taken to control and minimize the impact from the fall-out of the recent economic woes in the country which would not have any effect on the credit union’s capital reserves.
He reiterated that the credit union would provide fair and competitively priced services to members in a way that brought good financial returns to loyal members.

In the final draw of the golden opportunity promotion, Janet Serwaa won a KIA ATOS car for the first prize, while Gifty Amponsah took home a brand new Haojin Motor Bike as the first runner up, Esther Yeboah took the second runner up position with a 32 inches LG LED Television as her prize.
