Aero Surveys Limited (Starbow Airline), a Ghanaian registered airline has commenced operations on the Accra-Sunyani-Accra route with a maiden afternoon flight service from Accra to Sunyani with the Q400 brand new aircraft.

Mr James Eric Antwi, Chief Executive Officer/Accountable Manager of the company briefed the media on arrival at the Sunyani Airport that the Sunyani operation was meant to provide efficient and reliable service to boost economic activities in the Brong-Ahafo Region.

Mr Antwi said the company had come to Sunyani to engage in serious business but not as a substitute to any other airline, adding that it has a fleet of four aircrafts to meet passengers demand with four flights weekly on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

He said the company, with local staff strength of more than 200 started operations in Ghana since September 2011 from Accra-Kumasi, extended its services to Accra-Tamale, then Accra-Takoradi and now Accra-Sunyani.

Mr Antwi said Starbow Airline’s presence in Sunyani now offers an opportunity as alternative and faster means of travel and transport service for travellers of diverse backgrounds, especially business and corporate executives in the Region to save enough travel time from Sunyani to Accra and other destinations.

Mr. Antwi implied that “time is money”, so patronage of Starbow’s services could result in quicker business transactions and therefore success for more profit.
