Standard Chartered Bank in another healthy gain

Accra, July 18, GNA- Standard Chartered Bank (SCB), the highest-priced equity on the Accra bourse, made another healthy gain in trading on Friday, pushing the main stock gauge up by 12.56 points. The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) All-Share Index ended the day on 2,221.52 points in trading that saw 127,900 shares changing hands. There were nine price changes, all positive. SCB gained 800 cedis at 52,800 cedis, Home Finance Company (HFC) was 100 cedis richer at 2,600 cedis, Unilever was up by 90 cedis at 7,400 cedis and Ghana Commercial Bank gained two cedis at 6,502 cedis. CFAO inched up by one cedi at 74 cedis, Enterprise Insurance Company (EIC) also gained one cedi at 6,001 cedis, Produce Buying Company (PBC) was one cedi richer at 6,001 cedis, Patterson Zochonis gained one cedi at 2,058 cedis and SSB Bank was one cedi better at 7,306 cedis. Change for the year was 59.21 per cent. Market capitalisation improved at 9,030.31 billion cedis.
