Stanbic Bank donates to Tamale Air Force Base

Accra, March 3, GNA - Stanbic Bank Ghana has donated an amount of GH¢6,880 towards the procurement of furniture for the office of the base commander at the Tamale Air Force Base. A statement from the bank said the donation was in response to an appeal made to the bank by the Base Commander.

It said in presenting the cheque on behalf of the Managing Director, Hea= d of Marketing and Public Affairs of the bank, Mr Mawuko Afadzinu, said the bank believes in relevant partnerships with the Armed Forces. He said the donation to the Tamale Base Headquarters was one of the good opportunities to support a key and relevant institution in the State. Mr Afadzinu said the bank aims at providing support not only in cash but also to do things that will make the biggest impact in the lives of beneficiaries.

Receiving the donation, the Base Commander, Air Commodore Philip Ayisa said the gesture was very timely for the Base Headquarters. He said the Base would do all it could to ensure that the relationship i= t had begun with the bank flourishes.
