Silver Star - Auto Firm of the Year

SILVER STAR Auto Limited last weekend received the prestigious Motor Firm of the Year 2001 award at the 13th National Awards event of the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG).

Twenty other individuals and companies received awards at the well-attended ceremony at the banquet hall of the State House, Accra.

Among the attendees was guest of honour, Hon. Kwamena Bartels, Minister of Private Sector Development and stand-in Minister of Tourism.

For Silver Star, local representatives for Mercedes Benz, it was an award well deserved and a full-house of senior staff and their spouses were at hand to watch Sales Manager, Mr. Francis Amegayibor, receive the Motor Firm of the Year plaque and citation from the immediate past president of CIMG, Mr. Kwame Adjei-Seffah.

The CIMG coming with the award read: "With well defined service standards based on a mission statement of adequate customer care and optimum satisfaction, you have put in place well laid structures in terms of regular in-service training programme and periodic courses for your staff to enhance customer services delivery.

Strategically, you have put in measures to face the challenges of the industry, by consistently updating the knowledge of your staff to have an insight into all aspects of your operations thus enhancing customer satisfaction and ensuring growth of your company."
