Seth Dei addresses 11th MTN business executives meeting

Ghanaian investor and co-founder of Blue Skies, Seth Kwesi Dei will be speaking at the 11th MTN Business World Executive Breakfast meeting, MTN has announced.

The much-anticipated event is scheduled to take place at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel on 27th March, 2014 on the theme: ‘Positioning Your Business for Global Expansion.’

Mr Dei is one of Ghana’s most successful investors with shares in multiple businesses in the areas of leasing, insurance, pharmaceutical manufacturing, fruit processing and marketing.

Dei is passionate about instilling integrity in Ghanaian businesses as a means to achieving global recognition and success – a value that has improved Blue Skies, a world leading fresh-cut fruit business in a little over a decade with over $100 million in annual turnover and contributing 1% of Ghana’s total exports.

He is a graduate of both Cornell and Columbia University.

Commenting on the importance of the breakfast series, Rahul De, Chief Marketing Officer of MTN said, “As a brand we are excited to be impacting the business community positively through our support in organizing 10 successful episodes in the Breakfast series at which have discussed pertinent issues for business development and growth in today’s fast changing world. The feedback received from our patrons has been positive and we are confident that the 2014 edition of the breakfast series will be no exception.”

He added that in line with the theme for the 11th edition of the breakfast series, MTN will introduce a new service, which will facilitate business between Ghana’s rapidly expanding market and the rest of the world.

The service, known as Global Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS), is to ensure that customers enjoy a seamless end-to-end experience of MTN’s enterprise offerings.

The ultimate aim is to make the lives of enterprise customers a whole lot brighter.
