The second Ghana SME Expo opens at the Accra International Conference Centre on Thursday on the theme "Growing Sustainable Enterprises through Finance and Technology".
A statement from the organisers in Accra on Wednesday said the three-day exhibition and conference dubbed "Business Sense 2012", was being sponsored by Vodafone Business Solutions and organised by OML Africa.
It said the event to be opened by Ms Hanna Tetteh, Minister of Trade and Industry would be a platform for SMEs to discover business opportunities, exchange ideas and network.
It would be "A unique marketplace for SME products and services; an educational forum for sharing, learning and discovering; a complete solution for SME marketers to meet business owners directly; and a sourcing market for investors, fund managers and venture capitalists".
The statement said running alongside the conference would be a business exhibition where businesses would showcase their services and products to a high-calibre business-oriented audience.
"Exhibitors at Business Sense 2012 will have the unique opportunity to network with highly targeted and focused visitors on a face-to-face basis as well as major decision-makers attending the conference."
Admission to the exhibition is free. **
