Samsung to give customers value enhancement

Samsung Electronics Africa, has introduced the evolution of the eco-system designed to give consumers more option, choice and lifestyle value enhancements.

Mr Jaspreet Singh, Business Leader for Handheld Products at Samsung Ghana told Journalists in Accra that the new Samsung Galaxy Note III and Galaxy Gear are designed to give customers more options to suit every lifestyle.

“We understand that customer purchases are driven by a number of elements, of which value and future viability plays a large role and to ensure that our customers continue to receive premium services, choice and options on top of their premium Samsung device, we have introduced additional services for consumers to design their life,” he said.

He said Samsung is striving to become a global healthcare leader by bringing together its expertise in electronics and IT technologies for an improved and more complete healthcare experience.

“We have therefore launched our Smart Health App in the Galaxy Note III, an evolution in mobile health, endorsed by the United Nation’s Global Fund for AIDS, TB and Malaria to enable consumers not only educate themselves around these diseases, but to identify symptoms, high risk areas as well as precautionary measures and medication,” he said.

Mr Singh said Samsung has also created an ecosystem focused on ensuring the future viability of customers’ investment, premium service and security by the introduction of the ADH premium, which gives customers additional Smart Swop service and the Smart Value, which guarantees consumers of Galaxy Note III the future value of the device by up to 25 per cent from 1 - 12 months to be used on the purchase of their next premium GALAXY device.

“There is also VIP Note III dedicated call centre, where consumers would report any problems or concerns by calling their regional call centre to assist with their claim or queries,” he said.

He said Samsung Galaxy Note III also offers ChatOn, WeChat, WhatsApp and BBM as part of the connected Messaging Hub, including an entertainment application. “We are always looking at new and innovative ways to ensure our customers have not only the very best in technology, but certainly the value-adds that accompany such premium devices and these initiatives are an expansion of this driving consumer experiences based on choice and value.”
