SPACEPHONE Slashes Call Rates

Scancom Limited, operators of Ghana’s leading cellular network, Spacefon, has reduced its call rates by as much as 25% as part of a comprehensive programme to celebrate seven (7) years of the company’s existence.

Starting on November 1, 2003, the new rates make Spacefon the lowest GSM service provider by way of call charges.

Customers will now pay ?937.50 for a thirty second call during Peak periods, and ?625 for Off Peak periods. Additionally, the price of Spacefon’s Starter Packs has been reduced from ?270,000 to ?170,000.

Also for the month of November, one hundred (100) customers selected through Spacefon’s Special Anniversary SMS promotion, will each be given free 240 units each day.

Other activities lined up to celebrate seven years of Spacefon include donations to selected Foster Homes and a party for street kids in Accra.
