The Managing Director of SIC Insurance PLC, James Agyenim-Boateng, has emphasised the importance of collaboration and innovation for the growth of Ghana’s insurance industry.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the Regal Reinsurance Training in Accra on Wednesday, September 18, 2025, he highlighted the role of training programs in fostering a stronger and more resilient insurance ecosystem, benefiting both individual institutions and the broader market.

“At SIC, not only are our promises sacred, but we also strongly believe that the future of insurance lies in collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. We understand the critical role that reinsurance plays, not only as a financial tool but also as a cornerstone of stability, sustainability, and confidence in our industry,” he said.

Agyenim-Boateng urged trainees to apply and share their knowledge, challenging them to question old assumptions and forge smarter partnerships.

“Let me reaffirm SIC’s commitment to supporting initiatives that elevate industry standards, strengthen local capacity, and deepen cooperation within the insurance and reinsurance community,” he added.
