SC Digital journey is to bring convenience to clients – Bossman Kwapong

Shortly after the successful launch of the SC Mobile Ghana App, Standard Chartered Bank Ghana has followed up with another innovative feature of its latest online platform known as the SC Keyboard.

The bank which is currently embarking on an active e-banking campaign, states that its digital drive is to bring convenience to client and it will do so in accordance with the regulators requirement.

Addressing the press at the launch of SC Keyboard, Bossman Kwapong, General Manager Products, Retail Banking, Standard Chartered Bank Ghana Limited stated that the newest feature, SC Keyboard has been introduced to increase user experience. He also added that it has become prudent for the bank to charter the digital course to satisfy the evolving and increasing need customers.

Mr. Kwapong disclosed that SC Mobile Ghana App and its newest feature have not come to replace existing jobs but rather to create new opportunities. He maintained that since the launch of SC Mobile Ghana App, there has been opening in all 275 districts and in areas where the bank has no presence.

“The SC Mobile app has solved problems across the age bracket… I do not think that our digital platform substitutes any of our branches. I think that as a bank you make decisions are right and doesn’t have to be one or the other”. He said.
