SADA guinea fowl investment: NOGAID calls for cool heads

Northern Ghana Aid (NOGAID Ghana), a non-governmental organisation (NGO) has called for dispassionate discussion over the alleged GH¢47 million investments in guinea fowl and afforestation projects by Savanna Accelerated Development Authority (SADA), which has attracted public attention.

NOGAID, a leading development organisation championing the development aspirations of the people of Northern Ghana says although the money is colossal, people must not jump into hasty conclusions.

A statement issued by Mr Mustapha Sanah, Executive Chairman of the NGO, in Tamale on Tuesday and copied to Ghana News Agency said although public interest in the activities of SADA is a good omen, the facts behind the investments should not be twisted in order to derail donor interest in the activities of the Authority.

“Until the appropriate authorities are able to establish that there was malfeasance in the way the amount was expended, let us all give SADA the space to carry out its legitimate functions.

“Nobody should be judgmental in the matter until all the pros and cons are weighed,” Mr Sanah said.
