Professional bodies should regulate activities of chief executives-

CIAMC

Koforidua, July 23, GNA- The Executive Secretary of the Chartered Institute of Administration and Management Consultants (CIAMC), has expressed the need for heads of private and public institutions to be regulated by their various professional bodies, to help promote good governance.

Dr O. T. Feyi-Sobanjo said it was only recognized professional bodies with licensing rights that could help facilitate good governance. He was speaking on Thursday at the inauguration of the Eastern Regional branch of the CIAMC, in Koforidua, which is the seventh branch to be established in the country.

The new facility will offer opportunity for people to process professional license locally.

In a speech read on his behalf, Dr Seth N. Buatsi, National President of the CIAMC, said it was the determination of the Institute to produce a new cadre of professional administrators and management consultants. 23 July 04
