The plush Labadi Beach Hotel has received recognition from the Earl of Wessex, Prince Edward of the Duke of Edinburgh as the best hotel in excellent hospitality services
The recognition follows a successful recent hosting of top delegates who took part in the 13th Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award forum organized under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo with His Royal Highness Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex who is also the Chairman of the Duke of Edinbourgh’ International Award foundation.
Themed “shaping the future; shaping our world,” The 13th triennial forum brought together global leaders from the 31st of October 2018 throughout the First week of November.
According to the executive Director of the Head of State award scheme-Ghana, Peter Akai Anum, the Royals were made to feel at home during their stay at the Labadi Beach Hotel which made them enjoy the natural warmth of the Ghanaian people.

The president of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo hosted the Duke of Edinburgh International triennial Award which witnessed the presence of International leaders to plan the future growth of the Award worldwide which focuses on the development of universal skills such as resilience, confidence and communication needed to prepare the youth between the ages of 14 to 24 years to be equipped with leadership roles.
