Prices of some commodities increase in Tamale

Prices of some major commodities in the Tamale Metropolis have again increased while few others remained stable.

Commodities such as groundnuts, beans and local rice have increased slightly while yam, Navrongo tomatoes and maize had reduced marginally.

An Olonka of Navrongo tomato, which was sold last week at 8 Ghana cedis is now being sold at 6 cedis this week, while onion has also reduced from 25 cedis to 20 cedis and groundnuts, soya beans and beans have also increased by a margin of one Ghana cedis from the last week price.

The GNA market survey in the two main Aboabo and the Tamale Central markets conducted on Friday have revealed.
